For everyone

Whether you’re a student, new to the field, seasoned scrub or retired - our community involves you

In the early 90’s a group of healthcare admins, nurses, career coaches, and community organizers joined minds. They realized that the world was missing a reliable community experience for nurses. Something that could encourage the community to improve the lives of future and existing nurses everywhere. Now known as, NurseDeck, our community has grown to over 250k strong. Allowing resources, guidance and voices to be built and heard by the entire nursing world.

Join our community - make a difference

What’s your goal?

For every Daniel-san, there’s a Miyagi

Self promotion

Let nurses support you on your entrepreneurial journey. Ask your fellow nurses to check out your business and provide feedback. Share resources, guides and tools about your business with the NurseDeck community. Build your reputation score by interacting with existing questions, polls and posts. Think of NurseDeck as your yellow-brick road (without the smoke and mirrors at the end)

We are always looking for ways to improve the world of nursing

Our stance

One of the best things around here—and certainly one of the things that we are the most proud of—is that NurseDeck is a community built by our fellow nurses. As such, we have each other’s backs. This plays out in real time when members of our community bring to attention posts, articles and decisions that can be improved upon.

This is especially important since here at NurseDeck we are all about evidence-based everything. To be absolutely crystal clear that means we actively:

  • promote science

  • encourage widespread vaccine rollouts

  • encourage mask-wearing

  • all basic public-health promoting practices like hand-washing, social distancing, and contact tracing

  • amplify the voices of public-health experts

The tricky thing about mixing social media with health information is that popularity sometimes conflates opinion into fact. Nurses are stewards of community health, no matter what field they work in. We simply cannot promote the perpetuation of misinformation, no matter how indirectly we connect to it.

We are incredibly appreciative of the support from our community as we continue to promote public health through all CDC, WHO and ANA guidelines. We see you, and we appreciate you. 💙
